Tuesday morning the strong, gusty winds died down somewhat and I got an early start to Middlesboro, KY.  The weather forecast was less than perfect with clear skies but winds 10-15 out of the northeast.  At least the tailwind would be an advantage.  I was very much looking forward to introducing my family to ultralights.

The actual route changed a little from the original plan.  Instead of 444 miles in one day it took 397 miles over 2 days.

Click on the date links in the left menu, September 5, September 6, September 7 and September 8 to see the photo index for that date.
