The first major part of my flight was from Field of Dreams to Brooks Field.  I departed at 0640 on August 30, 2000.  The original flight plan had 10 legs covering 658 miles and would take 2 days.  Little did I know my plans would change dramatically.  The actual route was 599 miles and took 5 days.
