This is the PTO piston exhaust side.  No carbon build-up here either.  If this picture of an engine never de-carboned with over 260 hours using Pennzoil 2-cycle for air-cooled and Amoco 93 doesn't convince you, nothing will.  You can just bearly see the results of 100LL on the piston top.  It leaves a tan-white residue.
