This shows considerable scratches and scuffing of the magneto piston
on the intake side. There was almost no carbon buildup. You can tell I had
been running 100LL AVGAS from the tan-white residue on the rings and piston top.
This confirms my choice in Pennzoil 2-cycle for air-cooled oil and Amoco 93 fuel.
The engine had more than 260 hours with no de-carbon when the crankshaft rod bearing let
go.
